چکیده

A stack of images is a prerequisite for the multi-temporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar (MT-InSAR) due to wrapped nature phase. Although SBAS technique can relieve requirement amount SAR data, dozens acquisitions could be regarded as minimum requirement. However, limitation imaging capability spaceborne system, available data acquired from only one sensor often not enough satisfy phase unwrapping based on Nyquist sampling assumption. Fortunately, there sometimes may more than stack, that is, stacks different systems. In this study, we propose methodology detect ground deformation by combining multiple satellite systems MT-InSAR analysis. First, low-pass estimated time series with low spatial resolution and long wavelengths such ENVISAT ASAR (ASAR). This information then incorporated into processing high short wavelength, TerraSAR-X (TSX). Specifically, will subtracted each differential interferogram generated short-wavelength images, rest analysis double-differentiation interferograms. Then, residual calculated these interferograms together forms full deformation. As principal component has already been subtracted, gradient those double-differentiated smooth facilitate unwrapping. Between January 2009 September 2010, 14 11 TSX Tianjin, China are selected test data. root means square error (RMSE) 9.1 mm/year achieved while 3.7 images. an RMSE 1.6 when integrating The experiments show proposed method effectively

Synthetic aperture radar interferometry

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a coherent active microwave imaging method. In remote sensing it is used for mapping the scattering properties of the Earth’s surface in the respective wavelength domain. Many physical and geometric parameters of the imaged scene contribute to the grey value of a SAR image pixel. Scene inversion suffers from this high ambiguity and requires SAR data taken at di...

Time Series Analysis of the Digital Elevation Model of Kuwait Derived from Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry

The digital elevation model derived from SAR Interferometry is prone to atmospheric, penetration into soil medium, system noise and decorrelation errors. Eight ASAR images are selected for this study which have unique data set forming 7 InSAR pairs with single master image. It is expected that all the DEMs should have the same elevation values spatially with in the noise limits. However, they d...

Study of subsidence of Abarkooh plain of Yazd using the Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry method

Abstract The population growth, the development of cities, industry, agriculture, and improper use of resources especially non-renewable resources have led human beings to face the danger of running out of resources. In some cases, in addition to the above, irreversible environmental and geological hazards have occurred due to the overdrawn of resources. Over extraction of groundwater resourc...

Integrated Radar Interferometry for Ground Subsidence Monitoring

This paper reports the progress of the ongoing ESA CAT-1 project (ID 1078). Radar interferometry (InSAR) has been used together with GIS (Geographic Information System) technique to monitor ground subsidence due to underground mining in a test site around the Appin township, southwest of Sydney, Australia. Various digital elevation models (DEMs) are assessed using elevation profiles from ground...
