چکیده

The overall objective of the study is to determine influence various factors on tightness frame-based buildings. presents airtightness tests—Blow Doors Tests single-family residential buildings made in prefabricated wood frame technology. Primarily, impact selected quantitative and qualitative parameters determined quantity n50 was defined. For that purpose, correlation analyses were performed statistical hypothesis stating there no statistically significant linear relationship between (a multiplication factor air exchange building effected by pressure difference 50 Pa) specified verified. verified using F χ2 statistics. studies demonstrated are grounds reject research hypothesis. obtained results formulate a comprehensive conclusion allows test technology makes independent many features examined building. Ultimately, only dependent leak object. They do not depend roof structure, wall system, floor area, cubature, number window openings, porch.

Displacement-Based Seismic Design of Symmetric Single-Storey Wood-Frame Buildings with the Aid of N2 Method

This paper presents a new methodology for the displacement-based seismic design of symmetric single-storey wood-frame buildings. Previous displacement-based design efforts were based on the direct displacement-based design approach, which uses a substitute linear system with an appropriate stiffness and viscous damping combination. Despite the fact that this method has shown to produce promisin...

Wood Frame Grammar: CAD scripting a wood frame house

This paper demonstrates a novel method to generate house designs completely from 3/4” plywood sheets. A shape grammar routine is employed to divide an initial solid shape into constructible components for fabrication by CNC wood routing. The paper demonstrates programmable functions that can be performed using CAD scripting. Future goals for the grammar are to develop CAD programs for digital f...

Post-Earthquake Damage Inspection of Wood-Frame Buildings by a Polarimetric GB-SAR System

Structural damage inspection after an earthquake is essential for safety assessment of the affected wood-frame buildings and for making knowledgeable decision regarding their repair, renovation, or replacement. We present a polarimetric radar system for sensing the concealed wood-frames damaged by earthquakes. This system employs an antenna array consisting of four linearly polarized Vivaldi an...

Tightness for a Family of Recursive Equations

In this paper, we study the tightness of solutions for a family of recursive equations. These equations arise naturally in the study of random walks on tree-like structures. Examples include the maximal displacement of branching random walk in one dimension, and the cover time of symmetric simple random walk on regular binary trees. Recursion equations associated with the distribution functions...
