The application of highly biocompatible advanced materials leads to fewer complications and more successful medical treatments. This study proposes Ti40Zr10Cu36Pd14 bulk metallic glass (BMG) as an oral implant material provides insights into its possible processing routes, where high-temperature compression molding via optimized process is adopted both evaluate the thermoplastic net-shaping kinetics tune intrinsic properties alloy. We present processed BMGs BMG composites same composition with improved thermomechanical stability, from which high strength retention at temperatures, compared cast glass, by above 100 K higher registered dynamic mechanical analysis. ∼100 nm thin surface layers comprised Ti, Cu, Zr oxides form alloys, identified high-resolution transmission microscopy.
