چکیده
In 19-26% of patients hospitalized with suspected stroke, the cause neurological symptoms are not cerebrovascular diseases. this case newly diagnosed thyrotoxic periodic paralysis we presented clinical, laboratory and instrumental features disease. The search for allowed to identify an endocrinological disease - diffuse toxic goiter, prescribe antithyroid therapy. data prospective patient observation presented. We discussed a differential diagnostic range diseases acute low paraparesis, including rupture aneurysm anterior communicating artery, bilateral infarction in territory cerebral arteries, thrombosis upper sagittal sinus, spinal strokes Guillain Barre syndrome. need include lower paraparesis series is substantiated.
