In the present study, an extracellular alkali-thermo-tolerant xylanase from Bacillus paramycoides was produced in presence of organic solvent. The enzyme purified by ammonium sulphate precipitation, gel filtration, and ion exchange chromatography, with overall recovery 25.9%. hada 70 kDa molecular weight (MW) confirmed SDS-PAGE analysis. maximum activity reported at 55 °C pH 7.0. Xylanase stability were improved 30% (v/v) n-dodecane, iso-octane, n-decane, cyclohexane (7 days). Co2+, EDTA, Triton-X-100 while vigorously repressed Hg2+ Cu2+. showed 1.473 mg/mL Km 654.017 µg/mL/min Vmax values. distinctive assets isolate verified potential application field biomass conversion into fuel other industrial processes. Organic solvent-tolerant xylanases can be used for concurrent saccharification bioethanol production, amplification intoxicating beverages, fermenting industry.
