Three-stage optimization method for distributed energy system design under uncertainty

Reasonable capacity configurations of distributed energy system are issues which need to be discussed. Determinate design without considering variations in load and prices can result non-achievement project targets during its service life. Therefore, a method that takes into account uncertain factors precedence over other methods. In this paper, three-stage optimization is proposed provide theoretical guidance on the combined cooling, heating, power configurations. The first two stages link operation strategy equipment capacities simultaneously under current prices. Monte-Carlo simulation applied third stage fully consider effects various possible scenarios, Tabu search algorithm was introduced for optimization. comprehensive benefits include consumption, economy, emission level. These were taken consideration objective function. Moreover, detailed process presented illustrate application method. conclusion, not only suitable system, but could easily extend easily.
