Three species of Melaleuca from Western Australia are highly susceptible to Austropuccinia psidii in controlled inoculations

چکیده

Austropuccinia psidii, the fungus causing myrtle rust, was detected in Western Australia for first time June 2022. Few Australian plant species have been screened response to pathogen. Melaleuca thyoides, marginata and leucadendra grown from seeds sourced populations were all highly susceptible an isolate of pathogen eastern Australia.
