The ability to microscopically image diseased or damaged tissue throughout a longitudinal study in living mice would provide more insight into disease progression than having just couple of time points study. In vivo development and monitoring provides vitro studies as well. this study, we developed permanent 3D-printed, surgically implantable abdominal imaging windows (AIWs) allow for deep-lying tissues organs the cavity mice. They are designed prevent organ movement while allowing animal behave normally studies. AIW also acts its own mounting bracket attaching them custom 3D printed microscope mount that attaches stage houses inside.
