چکیده

Abstract AlN is a wide band gap material with promising properties for dosimetric applications, especially in UV dosimetry. In the present research, thermoluminescence method used order to better understand sunlight and X-ray irradiation effects on yttria doped ceramics. general, TL response characterised by broad peak maxima around 400–450 K emission spectrum (400 nm), Blue (480 nm) Red (600 bands. Compared irradiation, creates wider glow curve maximum shifted higher temperatures 50 K. Furthermore, spectra of irradiated suppressed. The reasons peculiarities under two types are discussed. Practical application ceramics as light dosimetry and, particular, estimated.

Thermoluminescence Response of Ytterbium-doped and Undoped of Silicon Optical Fiber Subjected to Photon Irradiation

Radiation effects of photon irradiation in Ytterbium-doped silica optical fibers are still much less explored despite their importance in space-based application as radiation dosimetry. This study investigates and compares the thermoluminescence glow curve, response, linearity and sensitivity of Ytterbium-doped SiO2 optical fibers with that of TLD-100. Samples are placed in solid phantom and ir...

Nonproportional response of LaBr3:Ce and LaCl3:Ce scintillators to synchrotron x-ray irradiation.

The nonproportional scintillation response of LaBr(3) doped with 5% Ce(3+) and of LaCl(3) doped with 10% Ce(3+) was measured using highly monochromatic synchrotron irradiation. To estimate the photon response, pulse height spectra at many finely spaced energy values between 9 and 100 keV were measured. The experiment was carried out at the X-1 beamline at the Hamburger Synhrotronstrahlungslabor...

Identification of glass and ceramics by X-ray fluorescence analysis with a pyroelectric X-ray generator.

Applications of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis with a pyroelectric X-ray generator are presented. Glass and ceramics were analyzed with this novel X-ray generator to examine its capability for analyzing nonmetallic inorganic material. Although the power of X-ray output was a few orders of magnitude lower than conventional X-ray tubes, many elements such as Si, K, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe, Zn, Sr, Ba, ...

Thermoluminescence of Simulated Interstellar Matter after Gamma-ray Irradiation Forsterite, Enstatite and Carbonates

Interstellar matter is known to be strongly irradiated by radiation and several types of cosmic ray particles. Simulated interstellar matter, such as forsterite Mg2SiO4, enstatite MgSiO3 and magnesite MgCO3 has been irradiated with the Co gamma-rays in liquid nitrogen, and also irradiated with fast neutrons at 10 K and 70 K by making use of the low-temperature irradiation facility of Kyoto Univ...
