چکیده

Abstract The current work is aimed to study the thermoluminescence (TL) properties of natural milky quartz associated with Metamorphic Rocks extracted from Eastern Desert Egypt. Atomic absorption spectrometer was used assess chemical compositions samples, and X-ray diffraction examine structural (XRD). deconvolution glow curve carried out revealed that there were ten trapping sites at 0.623, 0.936, 1.02, 1.06, 1.31, 1.47, 1.58, 1.76, 2.49, 2.96 eV. linearity sample examined for each peak. analysis studied also by T m − stop various heating rates (VHR) giving kinetics parameters (activation energy E , eV).The minimum detectable dose investigated samples found be 24 µGy. dosimeter demonstrated a high level repeatability. fading signal varying storage times up 30 days . Comparative study of the thermoluminescence properties of natural metamorphic quartz belonging to Turkey and Spain

The aim of this study is to investigate the sensitization of the thermoluminescence (TL) peak of metamorphic quartzes from Adiyaman in Turkey (TMQ) and fromMadrid in Spain (SMQ). Quartz samples of two different origins were β-irradiated between 6.689 Gy and 4816 Gy at room temperature. X-ray diffraction analysis has indicated that both TMQ and SMQ have the same crystal structure. Chemical analy...

A study of various occurrences of the Al2SiO5 polymorphs in the rocks/veins of the Hamedan region, Iran: with special reference to origin of quartz-kyanite veins

The study area is a part of so-called Sanandaj-Sirjan zone or Zagros imbricate zone of the Zagros Orogen, Iran. The Hamedan region comprises a metamorphic sequence of low- to high-grade regional and contact metamorphic rocks intruded by mafic, intermediate and felsic plutonic bodies. The sequence comprises pelitic, psammitic, mafic, calc-pelitic and calc-silicate rocks.  Pelitic rocks are the m...

Infrared Spectroscopic studies on the Mobility of Metamorphic Fluid in Quartz veins of Dharwar Craton

The thermal induced variations of water inclusions in their OH stretching mode region were probed in quartz veins from Dharwar Craton, India, using fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) in the temperature range 25 to 300 oC. All the inclusions have composition H2O-NaCl-CO2. The peak positions monotonously shift to higher wavenumbers with increasing temperature with slopes of 0.23 and...

Metamorphic evolution of high-pressure Quartz Schists in the Chadegan metamorphic complex, Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, Iran

The Chadegan metamorphic complex is a WNW-ESE- trending antiformal structure located in Sanandaj-Sirjan structural zone, Iran. The inner core of the structure is made of orthogneiss, containing eclogitic lenses. Schists and marbles lie structurally above theorthogneiss and crop out in the external limbs of the antiformal dome. Two main deformational episodes have been documented in theschists an...
