چکیده
We consider Markovian open quantum systems subject to stochastic resetting, which means that the dissipative time evolution is reset at randomly distributed times initial state. show ensuing dynamics non-Markovian and has form of a generalized Lindblad equation. Interestingly, statistics quantum-jumps can be exactly derived. This achieved by combining techniques from thermodynamics quantum-jump trajectories with renewal structure resetting dynamics. as an application our analysis driven two-level intermittent three-level system. Our findings may exploited tool tailor dynamical phases systems.

Thermodynamics of quantum jump trajectories.
We apply the large-deviation method to study trajectories in dissipative quantum systems. We show that in the long time limit the statistics of quantum jumps can be understood from thermodynamic arguments in terms of dynamical phases and transitions between them in trajectory space. We illustrate our approach with three simple examples: a driven 2-level system where we find a particular scale i...
متن کاملA review of quantum thermodynamics
In this article, we present a brief and elementary review of quantum thermodynamics and its achievements and challenges. This review includes an introduction to some fundamental concepts such as internal energy, heat, work, entropy, entropy production, thermal equilibrium, second law of quantum thermodynamics, relation between thermodynamics and information theory, as well as a discussion of ho...
متن کاملThe Quantum Jump Approach and Quantum Trajectories
A both conceptually and practically useful tool for the description of modern experiments on a single atom or a single system is the quantum jump approach with the associated quantum trajectories. The underlying ideas are outlined and then extended to moving systems. A new application to the problem of quantum arrival times is indicated.
متن کاملThermodynamics of quantum-jump-conditioned feedback control.
We consider open quantum systems weakly coupled to thermal reservoirs and subjected to quantum feedback operations triggered with or without delay by monitored quantum jumps. We establish a thermodynamic description of such systems and analyze how the first and second law of thermodynamics are modified by the feedback. We apply our formalism to study the efficiency of a qubit subjected to a qua...
متن کاملEntropy production along nonequilibrium quantum jump trajectories
For classical nonequilibrium systems, the separation of the total entropy production into the adiabatic and nonadiabatic contributions is useful for understanding irreversibility in nonequilibrium thermodynamics. In this paper, we formulate quantum analogues for driven open quantum systems describable by quantum jump trajectories by applying a quantum stochastic thermodynamics. Our main conclus...
