چکیده

The profile of sealing land is a sensitive factor affecting the thermo-hydrodynamic lubrication characteristics slipper pair. In this paper, non-uniform wear running surface under was presented and defined as boundary condition. Based on finite volume method successive over-relaxation iteration method, discrete numerical model coupled with temperature, pressure, thickness oil film constructed. Newton sequential circulation methods were used to solve coupling equations. influence thickness, sliding attitude, leakage discussed. analyzed results show that control outer side contour vertex position, avoidance inner could improve performance

Thermo-elasto-hydrodynamic (TEHD) analysis of oil film lubrication in big end bearing of a diesel engine

Nowadays, due to the increasing power of diesel engines, especially heavy duty diesel engines, and increasing gas pressure inside the combustion chamber, the forces acting on the engine bearings have dramatically raised. On the other hand, becaus eof the competition in the market, it is necessary to increase the engine bearing life and reduce its failure as much as possible. The engine bearings...

Hydrodynamic Lubrication of Rough Surfaces

Interacting surfaces are frequently found in mechanical systems and components. A lubricant is often added between the surfaces to separate them from mechanical contact in order to increase life and performance of the contacting surfaces. In this work various aspects of hydrodynamic lubrication are investigated theoretically. This is where interacting surfaces are completely separated by a flui...
