Roof is an essential component of the building envelope which exposed direct solar radiation and contributes to maximum load total cooling building; interface between indoor outdoor environments be strong enough withstand all weather conditions; it covered nearly 20–25% overall urban surface areas. In hot summer seasons, components must designed minimize discomfort. Recently, many studies were revealed showed that there can different solutions excessive heat problem through roof. But in Sudan, no significant research was conducted for cool roofs scenario, so more comprehensive experimental simulation analyses need performed climatic zones establish roof standards specific Sudan context future.
