چکیده

In the present study, a zero-dimensional thermal model has been developed to analyze novel low concentration photovoltaic-thermal (CPVT) collector. The by driving heat transfer and energy balance equations for each part of collector then solving all simultaneously. Moreover, Monte-Carlo ray-tracing software used optical stimulations parabolic trough solar CPVT experimentally tested at Gävle University (Sweden) validated against experimental results. primary saving equivalent thermal-electrical power cogeneration determined. effect glass cover removal, fluid (HTF) inlet temperature mass flow rate on performance investigated. optimum HTF rates maximum electrical yield overall were determined under specified operating conditions considering pump consumption. mean efficiencies studied characteristic equation efficiency obtained. peak have found be 69.6% 6.1%, respectively.

Experimental investigation of thermal and electrical performances of a nanofluid-cooled photovoltaic/thermal system equipped with a sheet-and-grooved serpentine tube collector

Introduction: In the present experimental investigation, the thermal and electrical performances of a photovoltaic/thermal system equipped with a sheet-and-grooved serpentine tube collector are investigated. The water-magnetite nanofluid is used as the heat transfer fluid. The effect of nanoparticle volume concentration (0-1%), nanofluid mass flow rate (10-40 kg/h) and groove pitch (0, 0.54 an...

Thermal behaviour of solar air heater with compound parabolic concentrator

A mathematical model for computing the thermal performance of an air heater with a truncated compound parabolic concentrator having a flat one-sided absorber is presented. A computer code that employs an iterative solution procedure is constructed to solve the governing energy equations and to estimate the performance parameters of the collector. The effects of the air mass flow rate, the wind ...
