چکیده
Abstract The goal of the current study is to investigate thermal degradation palm fronds (PF), olive leaves (OL), and wheat straw (WS) through pyrolysis calculate their kinetic data using TG-DTG DTA approaches. parameters were assessed isoconversional techniques like Ozawa-Flynn-Wall (OFW) Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose (KAS) methods, as well model-fitting integral method, which employs various diffusion reaction order models. Using kinetics models, typical for thermodynamics estimated. For PF, OL, WS, values activation energy ( E ) from method ranged between 8.82 167.13, 23.06 149.20, 11.01 156.27, respectively, On other hand, 22.3 117.49, 51.69 92.88, 23.48 125.97, reaction-order average energies calculated by WS samples are 91.9, 69.1, 65.2, OFW 87.5, 101.8, 63.4, KAS method. results demonstrated that provided almost identical those produced methods. In same range α ), showed models yielded greater frequency factor than demonstrating how simpler quicker is. $${\Delta \mathrm{G}}_{av}$$ Δ G av acceptability these materials pyrolysis, techniques, sequence process was OL > PF. more heat required dissociate reagent bonds, agrees with derived model. Kinetic models for biomass pyrolysis
Biomass is a versatile material. It can be directly combusted to produce heat; however, by first subjecting it to a thermal or biological degradation, it can also be converted to products with a higher heating value or to materials with properties superior to those of the raw material [1]. When heated in the absence of oxygen, biomass decomposes into a range of products; including char (solid),...
متن کاملBiomass pyrolysis oils for hydrogen production using chemical looping reforming
This study considers the feasibility of using highly oxygenated and volatile pyrolysis oils from biomass wastes as sustainable liquid fuels for conversion to a hydrogen-rich syngas using the chemical looping reforming process in a packed bed. Pine oil and palm empty fruit bunches oil‘EFB’were investigated with a Ni/Al2O3 catalyst doubling as oxygen transfer material (OTM). The effect of molar s...

This review presents the summary of new studies on pyrolysis of biomass to produce fuels and chemical feedstocks. A number of biomass species, varying from woody and herbaceous biomass to municipal solid waste, food processing residues and industrial wastes, were subjected to different pyrolysis conditions to obtain liquid, gas and solid products. The results of various biomass pyrolysis invest...

Thermal decomposition and gasification of biomass pyrolysis gases using a hot bed of waste derived pyrolysis char.
Chars produced from the pyrolysis of different waste materials have been investigated in terms of their use as a catalyst for the catalytic cracking of biomass pyrolysis gases during the two-stage pyrolysis-gasification of biomass. The chars were produced from the pyrolysis of waste tyres, refused derived fuel and biomass in the form of date stones. The results showed that the hydrocarbon tar y...
