There are too many kids with special educational needs

چکیده

Over recent decades, special educational needs (SEN) policy and practice in the UK have been flux as a succession of governments vacillates with competing social, political economic agendas. The simultaneous pursuit standards, inclusion equity has created fragmented system, well cognitive ethical dilemmas for schools. Moreover, divisive ‘corporation’ lucrative SEN industry established, contributing to unsustainable growth populace angst around overidentification. Indeed, extant literature suggests that every pupil correctly diagnosed SEN, another is misdiagnosed, diverting resources from pupils genuine needs.
