Therapies Targeting Immune Cells in Tumor Microenvironment for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

نویسندگان

چکیده

The tumor microenvironment (TME) plays critical roles in immune modulation and malignancies the process of cancer development. Immune cells constitute a significant component TME influence migration metastasis cells. Recently, number therapeutic approaches targeting have proven promising already been used to treat different types cancer. In particular, PD-1 PD-L1 inhibitors first-line setting non-small cell lung (NSCLC) with expression ≥1%, as approved by FDA. this review, we provide an introduction their efficacies, then discuss current immunotherapies NSCLC scientific research progress field.

Non-small-cell lung cancer: targeted therapies

Chemotherapy: is it still enough? The major progresses in understanding cancer biology and the mechanism of oncogenesis have allowed the development of several potential molecular target drugs for cancer treatment, which are components of signaling pathways or metabolic processes contributing to the acquisition of cancer phenotype. A general better tolerability, owing to a milder toxicity profi...

Targeting EIF4F complex in non-small cell lung cancer cells

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for about 85-90% of lung cancer cases, which represents the leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. The majority of lung cancer patients doesn't respond well to conventional chemo-/radio-therapeutic regimens and have a poor prognosis. The recent introduction of targeted therapy and immunotherapy gives new hopes to NSCLC patients, but their...

ATM induces radioresistance of non-small cell lung cancer A549 cells by downregulation of MDMX

Background: Tumor radioresistance leads to a reduction in the efficiency of radiation therapy. It is very important to explore the cellular mechanisms leading to radioresistance and to find potential therapeutic targets, which might improve the efficacy of radiation therapy. This study was to investigate the role of ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and murine double minute X (MDMX) in radior...

Development of PD-1/PD-L1 Pathway in Tumor Immune Microenvironment and Treatment for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is currently the leading cause of cancer-related death in worldwide, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for about 85% of all lung cancers. Surgery, platinum-based chemotherapy, molecular targeted agents and radiotherapy are the main treatment of NSCLC. With the strategies of treatment constantly improving, the prognosis of NSCLC patients is not as good as before, new sort o...

Maintenance Therapies for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Treatment of lung cancer had evolved during the last decade with the introduction of new chemotherapeutic regimens and targeted therapies. However, the maximum benefit reached after first-line therapy is limited by the cumulative toxicity of platinum drugs and the subsequent deterioration in performance status in a high percentage of patients who end up receiving not more than one line of treat...
