Abstract This article is a summary of the newly published book New Developments Ecological Discourse Analysis . On premise reviewing overall development ecolinguistics, this firstly develops Hallidayan approach and defines as an independent paradigm. Based on guiding principle ecosophy, “Diversity Harmony, Interaction Co-existence”, it then expands extends experiential, interpersonal, textual, logical metafunctions within framework Systemic Functional Linguistics. Consequently, constructs theoretical systems from perspective ecolinguistics: transitivity system, mood appraisal Theme cohesion coherence system. presents readers with comprehensive applicable for Analysis, that is, “ecological grammar”.
