The Value of a Book: Beyond the Price

This research comments on the historical and current trends of special collection libraries ways in which their policies reflect priorities protecting certain voices over others, thus assigning a value to those books are sought after. While book has been discussed extensively, most literature not taken into account significance policies, is gap that my aims address.
