The use of fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix for management of chronic wounds

Aims: In the treatment of chronic wounds, tissue growth must be addressed and optimized. The purpose this study is to investigate use regenerative medicinal product Fetal Bovine Acellular Dermal Matrix (FBADM) in wounds. 
 Methods: patients were chosen sporadically randomly based on availability FBADM. Patients assessed for adequate perfusion, debridement was performed, wounds ensured free infection. FBADM placed wound bed covered with a non-adherent contact layer, hydrogel sheet maintain moisture. Offloading or compression used as clinically indicated. then followed weekly. Digital photography visually document healing progress. Results: After 1-3 weeks managed had improved characteristics healthy vascularized that subsequently epithelialized from margins grafted split thickness skin grafts. Of 14 we achieved 69% complete healing, 24% non-complete after 12 application. 7% needed graft surgery.
 Conclusion: We found useful regimen diabetic foot leg ulcers, venous surgical being prepared grafting.
