The travel dream experience in pandemic times

This study was developed to understand how tourists feel after dreamed travel experiences ended up cancelled. The orchestra model that considers as an intermingled process applied analyse the negative feelings experienced by during these pandemic times. Through web scraping, over 40 thousand comments from 600 threads discussing impact on tourists’ inability concretize their dreams were extracted TripAdvisor forum. Those subjected data mining techniques, including generation of topic modelling and analysis sentiment scores across continents vis-à-vis reported cases fatalities. Results suggested despite disillusion for not being able travel, understanding mostly concerned with health peers.
