The tectono-stratigraphic and magmatic evolution of conjugate rifted margins: Insights from the NW South China Sea

This study is based on a careful analysis of high-quality reflection seismic sections located at the tip NW South China Sea V-shaped rift basin. Using CGN-1 section, line imaging complete sedimentary and magmatic architecture conjugate rifted margins, we: (1) provide detailed description crustal architecture; (2) define extensional domains, which we relate to specific deformation phases; (3) determine tectono-stratigraphic evolution linked rifting. Based these, propose kinematic restoration quantify amounts extension associated strain rates. We discuss link between record illustrate it in Wheeler Diagram.
