The relevance of emotional intelligence in social work practice and education

This article presents a discussion of the concept emotional intelligence and provides rationale with reference to relevant literature on significance in social work education. In this piece I argue that emotions can influence moral decision making may act as markers motivators for practitioners students. It offers my viewpoint based practice experience registered worker, educator learner completing PhD work. Finally, explicate some suggestions further include workers’ ongoing professional development students’
