The ability to solve problems is one of the cognitive abilities in mathematics that need be mastered by students. In supporting mastery problems, it necessary have motivation learn for This study aims determine relationship between learning students' mathematical problem-solving. research method used correlation with a quantitative approach. population this was all students class XI at Toma Nasional high school 2 and sample selected science majors which collected 15 instrument test measure form an explanation 3 questions, while non-test level scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson's product-moment test. results indicate significance 0.05 there problem-solving abilities. addition, linear regression equation Y = 12.964+0.422X obtained, means every additional 1 value motivation, increases 0.422.
