چکیده

Background: Anemia is a common problem that often occurs in patients with CKD undergoing hemodialysis. 56.5% of hemodialysis were still have anemia, while on the other hand, achievement adequacy only reached 52.7%. Disparity data basis for this research. The aim study to analysis relationship between incidence anemia hemodialysis. Methods: This uses descriptive correlation cross sectional approach independent variable (HD Adequacy) and dependent (Anemia). these variables was tested using Chi Square test.Result: conducted 134 aged 13-86 years, most vascular access AV fistula (68.7%), women respondents (55.2%). Kt / V value 1.67 (1.03-2.75) an adequate one 54.5%. Adequate URR 80.6% mean 75.13 ± 6.38. 53.7% Hb at 8.93 2.82 mg dl. results test showed HD (Kt URR) had P values 0.670 0.217.Conclusion: There no significant

Relationship Between Serum Cystatin C and Creatinine or Dialysis Adequacy in Patients on Chronic Maintenance Hemodialysis

BACKGROUND Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is widely estimated by serum creatinine based equations such as Cockcroft-Gault (CG) standardized for body surface, and an abbreviated formula derived from MDRD (modification of diet in renal disease) study. However, some studies suggested that creatinine based estimation of GFR formula can be replaced by cystatin C based formula. OBJECTIVES The aim...
