چکیده
Background and Study Aim. This study investigates expert amateur basketball players' visual tracking strategies accuracy inaccuracy free throws.
Material Methods. A total of 22 university student, 11 whom were experts (n = 5 females, n 6 males) amateurs males), without impairment, participated the study. Each athlete performed a 10 throws. The normal distribution data recorded in both accurate inaccurate throws was checked with Shapiro-Wilk test. All received on analyzed by independent samples t-test.
Results. Expert players to have an average 78% out 10, as for players, they 34%. During throws, quiet eye durations identified ~886ms, during ~570ms. ~612ms, ~388ms. study's findings reveal that develop statistically longer fixation than players.
Conclusion. supported phenomenon athletes' specific motor skills. knowledge obtained from is thought utmost significance identifying teaching their level athletes improve performance.

In the present study we tested if background visual stimuli can impede accuracy of basketball free throw shooting. Actions are frequently found to resist illusions in the psychological literature, but most such studies only utilize reaching or pointing. Other research reports that emotional arousal can affect motor control. We projected images onto a basketball backboard, either continuous moti...

Non-generic feedback refers to a specific event and that task performance is the reason to the acquisition of skills and implies that performance is malleable, while generic feedback implies that task performance reflects an inherent ability. The Goal of this study was to determine the generic and non-generic feedback effects on children’s motor learning basketball free throw. This research was...
متن کاملThe influence of anxiety on visual attentional control in basketball free throw shooting.
The aim of this study was to test the predictions of attentional control theory using the quiet eye period as an objective measure of attentional control. Ten basketball players took free throws in two counterbalanced experimental conditions designed to manipulate the anxiety they experienced. Point of gaze was measured using an ASL Mobile Eye tracker and fixations including the quiet eye were ...
متن کاملShooting mechanics related to player classification and free throw success in wheelchair basketball.
To determine what factors are associated with successful free throw (FT) shooting in wheelchair basketball and to examine the relationship between shooting mechanics and player classification, a biomechanical analysis of clean shots was undertaken. Significant differences were observed between the player classes in FT shooting mechanics employed for a clean shot. Players from Classes 1 and 2 te...
متن کاملTransfer of motor and perceptual skills from basketball to darts
The quiet eye is a perceptual skill associated with expertise and superior performance; however, little is known about the transfer of quiet eye across domains. We attempted to replicate previous skill-based differences in quiet eye and investigated whether transfer of motor and perceptual skills occurs between similar tasks. Throwing accuracy and quiet eye duration for skilled and less-skilled...
