The Public Librarian Low-Morale Experience: A Qualitative Study

چکیده
Recent studies on low morale in academic libraries reveal impacts workplace health and organizational culture concerns about leadership training development. Additionally, established research library dysfunction emotional labor librarianship, along with emerging scholarship incivility librarian-patron interactions, highlight a growing area of practice for information professionals. This qualitative study centers public librarians’ experience morale. Data validate the development practice- health-related outcomes illuminate realities work, behaviours, impact practices, perceptions value role librarians North America.
