Abstract A new prosperity gospel is emerging in the Philippines. We call it ethic. Its dimensions set apart from previous incarnation of gospel, which emphasized tithing and confessing. Specifically, ethic values upward mobility uses biblical principles for acquisition practical skills to become rich. make our case by drawing on writings Bo Sanchez Chinkee Tan, two most influential prosperity-oriented preachers country. The has three dimensions: morality wealth (believing right), prescribed mindset (thinking accumulate (doing right). In latter part we explain rise relating major shifts economy since 1990s.
