The process of establishing marine spatial planning maps in Vietnam

Creating a marine spatial planning map (MSP) guides the determination of map's extent and scale, map, content methods techniques mapping, sequence steps performed. The process consists 5 steps: 1) Define nature, requirements, scope, methods, 2) Analyze evaluate data information, 3) Make draw thematic maps diagrams, 4) MSP 5) description map. maps' location, scale are established according to 3-level system: national, regional, local. three-dimensional approach is integrated synthesized from functional zoning space use same scale. set in Vietnam divided into 3 levels: national level with 1:1,000,000; regional 1:500,000 together sub-regions at 1:250,000 scale; local-provincial 1:100,000 case necessity, establish district-level 1:25,000–1:50,000. Vietnam's sea functionally large regions, including Gulf Tonkin. Tonkin (region I) 6 zones, Mong Cai - Do Son one. This area Map as reference example, showing areas 7 basic units using space.
