چکیده

Objective Autoantibodies have been reported to be associated with cancers. As a biomarker, autoantibodies widely used in the early screening of lung cancer. However, correlation between and prognosis cancer patients is poorly understood, especially Asian population. This retrospective study investigated association presence outcomes Methods A total 264 diagnosed were tested for Henan Provincial People’s Hospital from January 2017 June 2022. The general clinical data these collected, after out those who met exclusion criteria, 151 finally included study. Cox proportional hazards model was analyze effect on Kaplan-Meier curve relationship overall survival Results Compared without autoantibodies, had an reduced risk death (HRs: 0.45, 95% CIs 0.27~0.77), independent gender, age, smoking history, pathological type, stage Additionally, found more significant by subgroup analysis male patients, younger small cell Furthermore, significantly longer time than autoantibodies. Conclusion indicator good cancer, providing new biomarker prognostic evaluation

Predicting Survival of Patients with Lung Cancer Using Improved Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System

Introduction: Lung cancer is the main cause of mortality in both genders worldwide. This disease is caused by the uncontrollable growth and development of cells in both or one of the lungs. Although the early diagnosis of this cancer is not an easy task, the earlier it is diagnosed, the higher will be the chance of treating. The objective of this study was to develop an optimized prediction mod...

Vitamin D is associated with improved survival in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer patients.

Vitamin D may inhibit the development and progression of a wide spectrum of cancers. We investigated the associations of surgery season and vitamin D intake with recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival in 456 early-stage non-small cell lung cancer patients. The data were analyzed using log-rank test and Cox proportional hazards models. The median (range) follow-up time was 71 (0.1-1...

Improved health and survival of FIV-infected cats is associated with the presence of autoantibodies to the primary receptor, CD134.

We analyzed antibody responses in sera from feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)-infected and uninfected cats. A strong antiviral response to the viral surface glycoprotein (SU) was noted in both natural and experimental infections. In addition, 143 of 226 FIV-infected animals (63%) also expressed antibodies to the primary binding receptor, CD134, whereas cats infected with other feline RNA viru...
