The node cop‐win reliability of unicyclic and bicyclic graphs

Various models to quantify the reliability of a network have been studied where certain components graph may fail at random and probability that remaining is connected proxy for reliability. In this work we introduce strengthening one these by considering not just but also cop-win. A cop-win if cop can guarantee capture fleeing robber in well-studied pursuit-evasion game Cops Robber. More precisely, $G$ with nodes are operational independently $p$ edges only both their endpoints operational, node $G$, denoted $\text{NCRel}(G,p)$, induce subgraph $G$. It then interest find graphs $n$ $m$ such $\text{NCRel}(G,p)\ge\text{NCRel}(H,p)$ all $p\in[0,1]$ $H$ edges. Such called uniformly most reliable. We show reliable exist unicyclic bicyclic graphs, respectively. This contrast fact there no known sparse maximizing corresponding notion
