The needs of children questionnaire – Turkish cross-cultural adaptation

Introduction and aim. Determining the needs of children hospitalized for treatment is important in terms identifying who are more at risk developing support systems child family. We aimed to test validity reliability Turkish questionnaire (NCQ) cross-culturally adapt it language. Material methods. This cross-sectional study was conducted using a total 160 aged 5-16 years were between May 2021 2022. The linguistic, content validity, construct internal consistency NCQ assessed. Cronbach’s alpha coefficients 0.748, 0.799, 0.821, 0.802 subscales Caring, Information, Activities, Relationships, respectively; 0.893 score. Inter-item correlations ranged from 0.149 0.702 (p<0.05). Conclusion. has high level society. 5 16 able comprehend this instrument express their feelings about hospitalization period.
