Code-switching (CS) of language teachers is common; however, educators have different views on its purpose and effect students' learning. With this, there should be a re-examination the use code-switching by in English classes. This research aimed to uncover multiple facets CS specifically common types used teachers, why they code-switch, insights can share with their peers. The researcher made qualitative method, phenomenology. In addition, analyzing transcription video lessons each participant was also conducted provide descriptive data used. study's results discovered that commonly intra-sentential rarely tag-like CS; inter-sentential occasionally. Moreover, it uncovered those code-switched for easy access learning, self-convenience, time constraints. It draws from which reveals make them efficient innovative while strengthening understanding. analysis would allow informed decisions about whether or not incorporate into teaching pedagogy.
