The Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (MAPKs) Expression and Primary Stress Hormone (Cortisol) of Clarias sp. Juvenile in Different Light Intensity
نویسندگان
چکیده
Clarias sp. is one of major genera freshwater catfish and also common commodity in tropical aquaculture. Excessive light intensity expected to be responded by fish as environmental stressors. Fish that experience stress will increase the secretion catecholamine, cortisol, blood glucose levels p38 MAPKs catfish. The different lights affect physiological processes. purpose this study was analyze responses (Level glucose, primary hormone (Cortisol) MAPKs) which were incubated at 300 collected from Kepanjen Regency, East Java. Blood meat sampling are carried out test profile MAPKs. experimental research stage transferred aquarium (50 x 30 cm) setted (0 lux (control), 400 lux, 800 1200 lux). Each filled with 15 kept it for 21 days. Quantificationof parameter using ELISA method. result showed highest peak (cortisol) 34±1,50 ng/mL, 120±3,4 mg/dL, MAPK 97±1,1 %. All achieved treatment on 2nd week.

Inactivation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway reduces caspase-14 expression in impaired keratinocytes
Objective(s):Several investigations have revealed that caspase-14 is responsible for the epidermal differentiation and cornification, as well as the regulation of moisturizing effect. However, the precise regulation mechanism is still not clear. This study was aimed to investigate the expression of caspase-14 in filaggrin-deficient normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEKs) and to explore the...
متن کاملHuman mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase mediates the stress-induced activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase cascades.
The mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades represent one of the important signalling mechanisms in response to environmental stimuli. We report the identification of a human MAPK kinase kinase, MAPKKK4, via sequence similarity with other MAPKKKs. When truncated MAPKKK4 (DeltaMAPKKK4) was overexpressed in HEK293 cells, it was constitutively active and induced the activation of endogeno...

متن کاملMitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatases inactivate stress-activated protein kinase pathways in vivo.
The c-Jun N-terminal protein kinases (JNKs), also called stress-activated protein kinases, are members of the growing family of serine/threonine kinases in the mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase superfamily. Like other MAP kinases, JNKs are activated via phosphorylation on adjacent threonine and tyrosine residues and can be inactivated by a unique family of dual specificity phosphatases, ca...
متن کاملIranian crack induces hepatic injury through mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway in the liver of Wistar rat
Objective(s): Iranian crack (IC) is a heroin-based substance manifesting various pathologic side effects. Herein, we aimed to investigate the mechanism of IC-induced liver injuries in Wistar rats. Materials and Methods: Twenty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups: control, and IC (0.9 mg/kg/day/IP, for 30 days). Mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production was measur...
