چکیده

Using improvements to the recently published m-polar fuzzy set (mFS) elimination and choice translating reality-I (ELECTRE-I) approach for calculating criteria weights, selection of a Non-Traditional Machining (NTM) process problem from industry is solved in this research. The weights ELECTRE-I method are evaluated using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Revised Simos' method. For ELECTRE family's weight calculations, Simos’ has been revised. Application of Fuzzy AHP and ELECTRE to Network Selection

In a heterogeneous wireless network environment services are ubiquitously delivered over multiple wireless access technologies. Ranking of the alternatives and selection of the most efficient and suitable access network to meet the QoS requirements of a specific service, as these are defined by the user, constitutes thus an important issue. Decisions on which network to connect to are however d...

Extensions of ELECTRE-I and TOPSIS methods for group decision-making under complex Pythagorean fuzzy environment

Multi-criteria group decision-making is a process in which decision makers assess the performance of alternatives on the basis of conflicting criteria to opt the most worthy alternative as solution. TOPSIS and ELECTRE are effective and commonly used methods to solve multiple criteria decision-making problems. The aim of this study is to propose two new models, namely, complex Pythagorean fuzzy ...

An integrated fuzzy AHP-ELECTRE methodology for environmental impact assessment

Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is the assessment of the possible impact that a proposed plan or project may have on the environment, together consisting of the natural, social and economic aspects. The aim of this paper is to propose an environmental impact assessment methodology based on an integrated fuzzy AHP–ELECTRE approach in the context of urban industrial planning. In the propose...

A digraph-based expert system for non-traditional machining processes selection

The presence of a number of available nontraditional machining (NTM) processes has brought out the idea of selecting the most suitable NTM process for generating a desired shape feature on a given work material. This paper presents a digraph-based approach to ease out the appropriate NTM process selection problem. It includes the design and development of an expert system that can automate this...
