The United States claims itself as the "beacon" of democracy, but chaos behind it shows that this is actually a lie. strange political term "Gerrymander" deeply exposes hypocrisy American democracy and also its chronic disease. In recent years, popular TV series House Cards depicts politics under power game reveals hypocritical nature hidden antagonistic democracy—in process election voting, public opinion was ignored, manipulated controlled arbitrarily, completely reduced to "game power" politicians. essence, "American democracy" opposite democracy. This paper will introduce phenomenon "Gerrymander", analyzing democratic from confrontational whip Republicans or Democratic embodied in Cards.
