The Lean Farm: Application of Tools and Concepts of Lean Manufacturing in Agro-Pastoral Crops

Agriculture must find new ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency meet the rising demand for products, avoiding waste due potential food scarcity. Through systematic literature review methodology, this study analyzes synthesizes existing on lean manufacturing (LM) applied in agro-pastoral production, its impact reduction losses waste, productivity increases considering production function mechanism (PFM), connecting a sustainability model based triple bottom line (TBL). A comprehensive search strategy was used identify relevant studies critically evaluate them using pre-determined inclusion exclusion criteria. The findings provide insights into LM inform future research field, highlighting of concepts by reducing increasing productivity. TBL impacts from application suggests tendency growth area research. theoretical understanding how tools techniques can be improve profitability agricultural sector is provided, as well practical examples recommendations implementing practices operations, aligning LP concepts.
