The Invisibles: Religious and Political Values Among Different Social Classes

Abstract Poverty and social exclusion can be defined as an accumulation of impediments: lack work income, bad housing, low education, maltreatment, disempowerment, loss dignity. Types poverty are indeed diverse, with the poor including both those who have inherited newly in age globalisation. The first group is probably less visible than second, more claiming. present specificities values. At religious level, they rather believing – particularly relation to paradise, practise their religion more. discrepancies between groups greater when it comes political matters. invisibles individualistic individualised. They politicised but nevertheless dissatisfied power, mobilise strongly public action (voting protest). do not easily trust others or institutions. attached democratic values, demonstrate xenophobia nationalism. therefore share many features populism. These values essentially correspond perennial trends classes. Differences countries geographical areas also very large. But each part Europe, we observe value differences groups.
