Heavy and Light Chain Allotypic Markers on Rabbit Homocytotropic Antibody
Evidence has been presented that rabbit homocytotropic antibody prepared against ovalbumin bears allotypic markers of both group a (heavy chain) and group b (light chain). This was shown by specific removal of activity in passive cutaneous anaphylaxis assays by anti-allotype immunoadsorbents. The homocytotropic antibody has properties which indicate that it belongs to a new class of rabbit immu...
متن کاملSemi-leptonic decays heavy-light to heavy-light
We present results for the QCD matrix elements involved in semi-leptonic decays of B-mesons into pseudo scalar heavy light states. The application of NRQCD heavy quarks allows for quark masses around the physical b-quark. We investigate the dependence of the form factors on the external momenta and looked at the mass dependence at zero recoil. For the first time, results for radially excited de...
متن کاملIgG light chain-independent secretion of heavy chain dimers: consequence for therapeutic antibody production and design
Rodent monoclonal antibodies with specificity towards important biological targets are developed for therapeutic use by a process of humanisation. This process involves the creation of molecules, which retain the specificity of the rodent antibody but contain predominantly human coding sequence. Here, we show that some humanised heavy chains (HCs) can fold, form dimers and be secreted even in t...
متن کاملSemileptonic decays of heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons
I discuss the results of a recent quenched lattice calculation of the two independent form factors parametrizing the semileptonic decays between heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons. The differential decay rate of the process B → Dℓν has been calculated at non vanishing momentum transfer both in the case of the light leptons ℓ = e, µ and in the case of a non vanishing lepton mass ℓ = τ.

< 0|Aμ|P >= fP pμ, where |P > is a pseudoscalar meson with 4momentum pμ, and Aμ is the axial current. The feasibility of using the lattice technique to calculate fP is now firmly established. The general trend in lattice calculations of fP is now towards a greater understanding of the systematic effects entering the calculation. This has been made possible through smaller statistical errors unc...
