The Integrated Production-Inventory-Routing Problem with Reverse Logistics and Remanufacturing: A Two-Phase Decomposition Heuristic

چکیده

Sustainable supply chains depend on three critical decisions: production, inventory management, and distribution with reverse flows. To achieve an effective level of operational performance, policymakers must consider all these decisions, especially in Closed-Loop Supply Chains (CLSCs) remanufacturing option. In this research paper, we address the Integrated Production-Inventory-Routing Problem Remanufacturing (IPIRP-R) returned End-Of-Life (EOL) products. The aim behind solving optimization problem is to minimize conjointly total manufacturing, remanufacturing, setup, inventory, routing costs over planning horizon. A two-phase decomposition heuristic developed solve model iteratively. Our study finds its originality fact jointly optimizing Capacitated Lot-Sizing (CLSP-R) option Vehicle Routing Simultaneous Pick-up Delivery (VRPSPD) a single framework. Numerical results showed that our solution approach provides good solutions regarding small medium-scale size instances under acceptable computational time, for problems occurring significant manufacturing relatively low pickup requests.

A Two-Phase Hybrid Heuristic Method for a Multi-Depot Inventory-Routing Problem

In this study, a two phase hybrid heuristic approach was proposed to solve the multi-depot multi-vehicle inventory routing problem (MDMVIRP). Inventory routing problem (IRP) is one of the major issues in the supply chain networks that arise in the context of vendor managed systems (VMI) The MDMVIRP combines inventory management and routing decision. We are given on input a fleet of homogeneous ...

a two-phase hybrid heuristic method for a multi-depot inventory-routing problem

the inventory routing problem (irp) arises in the context of vendor-managed systems. this problem addresses jointly solving an inventory management problem and a vehicle routing problem. in this paper, we consider a multi-depot multi-vehicle inventory routing problem in which suppliers produce one type of product to be delivered to customers during a finite time horizon. we propose a two-phase ...

periodic vehicle routing problem in reverse logistics with qualified customers

one of the important issues in transportation and logistics systems is vehicle routing problem (vrp). the vehicle routing problem is concerned with finding efficient routes of minimum total cost, beginning and ending at a central depot, for a fleet of vehicles to serve a number of customers. on the other hand, as a result of the increasing environmental concerns, economic problems and pressure ...

PRODUCTION INVENTORY MODEL FOR DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH SHORTAGES AND SALVAGE VALUE UNDER REVERSE LOGISTICS

In this paper, a production inventory model is developed for the business enterprise which consists of three wings. The first wing is for manufacturing new items, the second wing is for collecting the returned items, while third wing is for remanufacturing the returned item. In this model we consider the fact that the storage item is deteriorated during storage periods and salvage value is inco...

On the Integrated Production, Inventory, and Distribution Routing Problem

The integrated production, inventory and distribution routing problem (PDRP) is concerned with coordinating the production, inventory and delivery operations to meet customer demand with an objective to minimize the cost. The particular PDRP that we consider in this study also involves heterogeneous transporters with non-instantaneous traveling times and many customer demand centers each with i...
