The Influence of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosures on Investment Efficiency in the Asian Emerging Markets

The aim of the research was to determine efficiency investing in companies that report on their corporate social responsibility (CSR) developing markets. Companies won Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards 2020 were chosen for study. We evaluate correlation utilizing data from 36 firms year observations 2018 2020, using modified OLS estimation and regression analysis with panel heteroskedasticity and/or autocorrelation. In emerging market, sample period under examination is quite recent. Research findings show CSR reporting has a significant negative effect company’s investment (IE) influences IE overinvestment scenario. this paper provide several implications related parties managers enhance disclosure IE. They also contribute significantly existing literature about relationship between when providing evidence ASEAN context.
