چکیده
This paper presents the effect of blade type and feeding force during resin-bonded dentin specimen preparation on microtensile bond strength (μTBS) test. Forty flat middle specimens were divided into four groups. The each group sectioned according to as follows: fine grit/20 N, grit/40 medium N obtain resin-dentin sticks with a cross-sectional area 1.0 mm2. Four from center tooth subjected μTBS Five remaining selected for surface topography observation under scanning electron microscope (SEM). As result, medium-grit was higher than that fine-grit (p < 0.001), whereas had no influence values = 0.648). From SEM, prepared showed smoother integrity fewer defects edges in comparison blade. grit is one considerable factors may affect testing.

Influence of cement thickness on resin-zirconia microtensile bond strength
PURPOSE The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of resin cement thickness on the microtensile bond strength between zirconium-oxide ceramic and resin cement. MATERIALS AND METHODS Thirty-two freshly extracted molars were transversely sectioned at the deep dentin level and bonded to air-abraded zirconium oxide ceramic disks. The specimens were divided into 8 groups based on the exp...

Evaluating Resin-Dentin Bond by Microtensile Bond Strength Test: Effects of Various Resin Composites and Placement Techniques
OBJECTIVES This in vitro study evaluated the microtensile bond strength (MTBS) of a methacrylate-based compared to a silorane-based resin composite in Class I cavity using different placement techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS Class I cavities with dimension of (4 mm long, 4 mm wide, 3 mm deep) were prepared in extracted sound human molars. The teeth were randomly divided into six groups. The ...

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to determine the microtensile bond strength to root dentin of AH Plus™ and EndoREZ® with Clearfil Liner Bond 2V and Optibond Solo™ Plus adhesive systems. STUDY DESIGN The coronal and middle thirds of six single rooted bovine teeth was split longitudinally in a mesio-distal direction. The two halves were joined with AH Plus or EndoREZ, with and without the u...
