چکیده
This paper describes the methodology used for crosswalking occupation-based measures of Green (“environmentally friendly”) and Brown (“polluting”) jobs from Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system to International Occupation (ISCO) 08 at most detailed (4-digit) level. The original, task-based Greenness scores by Vona et al. (2018) are provided 8-digit SOC level, industry-based Brownness in 6-digit SOC. Crosswalking these requires several choices terms weighting aggregating, which this detail. robustness resulting different options underlying assumption is tested using Linked Employer-Employee data Portugal. An empirical application Productivity-Greenness link firm level shows choices, confirms that all derived consistent measuring jobs.

Green Buildings and Productivity
Healthier space need not be new space. In fact, some new buildings are extremely unhealthy as chemicals leach out into the air from glues, carpets, concrete and paint. There is no reason this must be the case. The cost to provide healthier environments is modest compared to the benefits. Healthier buildings reduce sick time and increase productivity, making it easier to recruit and retain emplo...
متن کاملThe Productivity Paradox in Green Buildings
In this paper we challenge the notion that “green” buildings can achieve greater productivity than buildings that are not accredited as “green”. For nearly two decades, research has produced apparent evidence which indicates that the design of a “green” building can enhance the productivity of its occupants. This relationship between building design and productivity is claimed to be achieved th...

his study attempts to examine the empirical relationship between gasoline taxes (as the most effective energy carrier of emissions) and labor productivities in the case of Iran using the time series data for the period 1990-2015 usingthe autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach. This research tests the interrelationship between the variables using the bounds testing to cointegration proc...

In the theoretical case where all apects that affect production are explicitly taken into account, the set of input factors will expl...
