چکیده

This work investigates the influence of Lorentz symmetry breaking in bending angle massive particles and light for bumblebee black hole solutions. The solutions analyzed break due to a non-zero vacuum expectation value field. We use Ishihara method, which allows us study finite distances, it is applicable non-asymptotically flat spacetimes when considering receiver viewpoint. In order analyze deflection particles, we systematize method its application Jacobi metric. systematization using Gauss-Bonnet theorem. consider two backgrounds: first was found by Bertolami et al. asymptotically flat. second recently Maluf not an effective cosmological constant.

The formation of black holes in spherically symmetric gravitational collapse

We consider the spherically symmetric, asymptotically flat Einstein equations coupled to a suitable matter model and find explicit conditions on the initial data which guarantee the formation of a black hole in the evolution. We establish such results for general matter models characterized by general conditions on the matter quantities, and we prove that the collisionless gas as described by t...

Gravitational instability of static spherically symmetric Einstein - Gauss - Bonnet black holes in five and six dimensions

Five and six dimensional static, spherically symmetric, asymptotically Euclidean black holes, are unstable under gravitational perturbations if their mass is lower than a critical value set by the string tension. The instability is due to the GaussBonnet correction to Einstein’s equations, and was found in a previous work on linear stability of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet black holes with constant cu...

Gravitational Anomalies, Hawking Radiation, and Spherically Symmetric Black Holes

Motivated by the recent work of Robinson and Wilczek, we show that the gravitational anomaly in the Vaidya spacetime of arbitrary mass function is cancelled by the total flux of a 1+1 dimensional blackbody at the Hawking temperature of the spacetime. This cancellation restores general covariance at the quantum level. Furthermore, we generalize their results to the most general static, and spher...

Spherically symmetric black holes in minimally modified self-dual gravity

We discuss spherically symmetric black holes in the modified self-dual theory of gravity recently studied by Krasnov, obtained adding a Weyl-curvature dependent ‘cosmological term’ to the Plebanski lagrangian for general relativity. This type of modified gravity admits two different types of singularities: one is a true singularity for the theory where the fundamental fields of the theory, as w...

Gravitational collapse and the formation of black holes for the spherically symmetric Einstein-Vlasov system

We review results on the spherically symmetric, asymptotically flat Einstein-Vlasov system. We focus on a recent result where we found explicit conditions on the initial data which guarantee the formation of a black hole in the evolution. Among these data there are data such that the corresponding solutions exist globally in Schwarzschild coordinates. We put these results into a more general co...
