The golden age of social science

چکیده
Social science is entering a golden age, marked by the confluence of explosive growth in new data and analytic methods, interdisciplinary approaches, recognition that these ingredients are necessary to solve more challenging problems facing our world. We discuss how developing “lingua franca” can encourage research, providing two case studies (social networks behavioral economics) illustrate this theme. Several exemplar from past 12 y also provided. conclude addressing challenges accompany positive trends, such as career incentives search for unifying frameworks, associated best practices be employed response.
