The global Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture for unitary groups: the endoscopic case

Abstract In this paper, we prove the Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture and Ichino-Ikeda for unitary groups $U_{n}\times U_{n+1}$ U n × + 1 in all endoscopic cases. Our main technical innovation is computation of contributions certain cuspidal data, called ?-regular, to Jacquet-Rallis trace formula linear groups. We offer two different computations these contributions: one, based on truncation, expressed terms regularized Rankin-Selberg periods Eisenstein series Flicker-Rallis intertwining introduced by Jacquet-Lapid-Rogawski. The other, built upon Zeta integrals, functionals Whittaker model. A direct proof equality between expressions also given. Finally several useful auxiliary results about spectral expansion are provided.
