چکیده

The most important pests of acacia black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) (Fabaceae) are: Appendiseta robiniae Gillette, Phyllonorycter robiniella Clemens, Parectopa Nematus tibialis Newman and Obolodiplosis Haldemann, species from North America, where it also originates the acacia, which is host plant. In Europe these were introduced accidentally, being considered invasive species. Europe, O. Haldemann was first reported in July 2003 northeastern Italy, Paese near Padua, spread to almost entire European continent, especially through trade infested biological material nurseries. attack occurs R. L., viscosa L. hispida mainly urban areas, affects their aesthetic value. larvae develop characteristic leaf margin roll galls on leaves. There are up 6 galels a leaflet, average there 5-6 larvae. develops two, three and, optimal conditions, even four generations year. Zoophagous entomofauna can cause population decline, parasitoid For Platygaster Buhl & Duso (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) percentage parasites 40%. A low parasitism be produced by other species, such as: Aprostocetus sp., Chrysocharis sp. Eulophidae), Eupelmus urozonus Dalman Eupelmidae), Eurytoma verticillata F. Lopesia davillae (Diptera, Cecidomyiidae), a new species of gall midge from Brazil associated with Davilla rugosa (Dilleniaceae).

Lopesia davillae, a new species of gall midge associated with the reproductive structures of Davilla rugosa (Dilleniaceae), is described and illustrated (larva, pupa, male, female, and damage) based on material collected in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This new species is compared with its congeneric species. This is the first record of Lopesia on Dilleniaceae.

Isolation and Characterization of Microsatellite Loci in the Asian Rice Gall Midge (Orseolia oryzae) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae)

Microsatellite loci were isolated from the genomic DNA of the Asian rice gall midge, Orseolia oryzae (Wood-Mason) using a hybridization capture approach. A total of 90 non-redundant primer pairs, representing unique loci, were designed. These simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers represented di (72%), tri (15.3%), and complex repeats (12.7%). Three biotypes of gall midge (20 individuals for each...

Development of polymorphic microsatellite markers of Obolodiplosis robiniae (Haldeman) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae), a North American pest invading Asia.

Microsatellite markers were developed for epidemiological studies on the black locust gall midge Obolodiplosis robiniae (Haldeman) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae), a native North America pest introduced to Europe and Asia. Polymorphism at each locus was tested on 68 individuals from six populations reared from infected host leaves of Robinia pseudoacacia L. collected in China. Fourteen loci were found...

New records and new species of gall midges (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) developing on Chenopodiaceae in Egypt.

The Cecidomyiidae (Diptera: Bibionomorpha) fauna of Egypt is poorly known. Investigations in northern Egypt in 2013 revealed the presence of seven species of gall midges on three host plant species: Atriplex halimus L., Arthrocnemum macrostachyum (Moric.) and Suaeda pruniosa Lange (all Chenopodiaceae). Among the gall midges, Baldratia salicorniae  Kieffer and Stefaniella trinacriae De Stefani a...
