The objectives of this research are to describe the representation and dependency East West using Edward Said's Orientalism. This uses a descriptive qualitative method. data collection method library research. researcher watched Forbidden Kingdom movie, then read books journals that related topic. Data analysis was carried out by between obtained explanation theory. findings author represents through Lu Yan, Silent Monk, Warlord, Monkey King. Yan lazy irrational person, Monk harbored suspicion Warlord depravity inhuman King foolish person. also forests which have high grass deserts extreme weather. These places dangerous not friendly. citizens who love violence. describes on West, China Jason, while Jason is pulled golden staff in order make peaceful. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan representasi serta ketergantungan Timur dan Barat menggunakan teori orientalisme milik Said. Penelitian metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan studi pustaka. Peneliti menonton film kemudian melakukan pembacaan terhadap buku jurnal terkait dengan topik yang akan diteliti. Analisis dilakukan cara analisis deskriptif antara data-data diperoleh penjelasan teori. Hasil yaitu pengarang merepresentasikan melalui tokoh Biksu Pendiam, Raja Monyet. digambarkan sebagai sosok pemalas irasional, Pendiam memendam rasa curiga, bejat moral tidak manusiawi, Kera bodoh. Pengarang juga hutan mempunyai rerumputan tinggi padang pasir bercuaca ekstrim. Dua tempat berbahaya bersahabat. kehidupan sosial warga irasional mendahulukan kekerasan. diawali ditariknya oleh tongkat emas menuju membuat damai kembali.
