چکیده

The Fisher gAlaxy suRvey cOde ($\texttt{FARO}$) is a new public Python code that computes the matrix for galaxy surveys observables. observables considered are linear multitracer 3D power spectrum, convergence spectrum weak lensing, and correlation between distribution convergence. allows tomographic model-independent analysis in which, scale-independent growth, following functions of redshift $A_a (z) \equiv \sigma_{8}(z) \, b_a (z)$, $R(z) f(z)$, $L(z) \Omega_{m} \Sigma (z)$ $E(z) H(z)/H_0$, together with function scale $\hat{P}(k)$, taken as free parameters each bins respectively. In addition, module change variables provided to project on any particular set required. built be fast possible user-friendly. As an application example, we forecast sensitivity future like DESI, Euclid, J-PAS LSST compare their performance different ranges.

The 6dF Galaxy Survey

The 6dF Galaxy Survey (6dFGS) 1 is a spectroscopic survey of the entire southern sky with |b| > 10◦, based on the 2MASS near infrared galaxy catalog. It is conducted with the 6dF multi-fiber spectrograph attached to the 1.2-m UK Schmidt Telescope. The survey will produce redshifts for some 170,000 galaxies, and peculiar velocities for about 15,000 and is expected to be complete by June 2005.

Galaxy–galaxy Lensing in the Hubble Deep Field: the Halo Tully-fisher Relation at Intermediate Redshift

A tangential distortion of background source galaxies around foreground lens galaxies in the Hubble Deep Field is detected at the 99.3% confidence level. An important element of our analysis is the use of photometric redshifts to determine distances of lens and source galaxies and rest-frame B-band luminosities of the lens galaxies. The lens galaxy halos obey a Tully–Fisher relation between hal...

Constraints on Galaxy Formation from the Tully - Fisher Relation

New models for the formation of disk galaxies are presented. I discuss the constraints on galaxy formation that follow from fitting the model to the near-infrared Tully-Fisher (TF) relation, with an emphasis on reproducing the small amount of scatter observed. Once the parameters that describe the supernova feedback are tuned to fit the slope of the observed TF relation, the model reproduces th...

Constraints on galaxy halo profiles from galaxy-galaxy lensing and Tully-Fisher/fundamental plane relations

Observations of galaxy-galaxy lensing from Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) are combined with the Tully-Fisher and fundamental plane relations to derive constraints on galactic halo profiles. We show that both for early and late type galaxies around L∗ the rotation velocity decreases significantly from its peak value at the optical radius to the virial radius r200, vopt/v200 ∼ 1.8 with about 20%...

GAIA Galaxy Survey: a multi-colour galaxy survey with GAIA

The performance expected from a galaxy survey to be carried out with GAIA, the GAIA Galaxy Survey, is outlined. From a statistical model of galaxy number density, size and surface brightness distribution, and from detailed numerical simulations based on real images, it is conservatively estimated that GAIA would be able to detect and observe about 3 million galaxies brighter than V ≃ 17 and to ...
