چکیده
Wild soybean germplasm is distributed widely in China, particularly Heilongjiang Province. In this study, 242 wild accessions from four agricultural divisions Province were evaluated based on six qualitative and eight quantitative traits. Results showed that a large amount of variation occurred these Abundant traits included the type (78.51%), purple flowers (90.50%), needle leaf (39.26%), black seed (83.88%), brown hilum (52.07%), mud film (87.60). multivariate analysis 100-seed weight, seeds weight per plant, number effective pods, invalid pods significantly different among samples (p < 0.05). A total 27 germplasms screened. Cluster identified into two groups, not following geographical distribution pattern, with rich resources revealed northern site. The present study indicated should be conserved situ. genetic diversity soybeans sites suggested its significant potential utilization improvement breakthrough for breeding. Distribution and diversity of rhizobia associated with wild soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) in Northwest China.
A total of 155 nodule isolates that originated from seven sites in Northwest China were characterized by PCR-RFLP of the 16S rRNA gene and sequence analysis of multiple core genes (16S rRNA, recA, atpD, and glnII) in order to investigate the diversity and biogeography of Glycine soja-nodulating rhizobia. Among the isolates, 80 were Ensifer fredii, 19 were Ensifer morelense, 49 were Rhizobium ra...
متن کاملInheritance of salt tolerance in wild soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. and Zucc.) accession PI483463.
Tolerant soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merr.) cultivars aid in reducing salt damage in problem fields. New genes are important to reduce losses from salt injury. Objectives of this study were to determine inheritance of salt tolerance in wild soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. and Zucc.) PI483463 and to test allelism of tolerance genes from genotypes PI483463 and S-100, a common ancestor of southern in US...
متن کاملAssociation mapping of yield-related traits and SSR markers in wild soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. and Zucc.)
Wild soybean, the progenitor of cultivated soybean, is an important gene pool for ongoing soybean breeding efforts. To identify yield-enhancing quantitative trait locus (QTL) or gene from wild soybean, 113 wild soybeans accessions were phenotyped for five yield-related traits and genotyped with 85 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers to conduct association mapping. A total of 892 alleles were d...
متن کاملEnvironmental and Historical Determinants of Patterns of Genetic Differentiation in Wild Soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. et Zucc)
Wild soybean, the direct progenitor of cultivated soybean, inhabits a wide distribution range across the mainland of East Asia and the Japanese archipelago. A multidisciplinary approach combining analyses of population genetics based on 20 nuclear microsatellites and one plastid locus were applied to reveal the genetic variation of wild soybean, and the contributions of geographical, environmen...
متن کاملIntegration of the Draft Sequence and Physical Map as a Framework for Genomic Research in Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) and Wild Soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. and Zucc.)
Soybean is a model for the legume research community because of its importance as a crop, densely populated genetic maps, and the availability of a genome sequence. Even though a whole-genome shotgun sequence and bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) libraries are available, a high-resolution, chromosome-based physical map linked to the sequence assemblies is still needed for whole-genome align...
